Appointments information and booking

We are an NHS GP surgery in Westminster.  We look after our local community, providing safe and effective healthcare to all.

PATCHS

PATCHS allows you to quickly and safely get help and advice from Millbank Medical Centre online.

Book an appointment

A routine GP or nurse appointment can be booked via SystmOnline – please speak with reception to activate this if you haven’t already. Currently due to COVID we provide telephone, video and online consultations prior to face to face appointments.

Urgent help

If you need urgent help, we will contact you by phone on the same day.  In order to prioritise the demand, our reception team will ask you for details.  This allows the most appropriate person to call you back.  Should you need a face to face review, this will be arranged after the phone call.

If you are seriously unwell, please call 999 for life-threatening conditions, or 111 to speak to someone urgently.

Evening and weekend appointments

Our partner practices can offer routine appointments with Doctors and Nurses on Saturday and Sundays.  Please book this via our reception team during opening hours by calling 02078345502.

  • Pimlico Health at the Marven, 46-50 Lupus Street, SW1V 3EB
  • The Connaught Square Practice 41 Connaught Square, W2 2HL
  • Westbourne Green Surgery Health at the Stowe, 260 Harrow Road, W2 5ES

Cancelling appointments

Please give as much notice as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else. Cancellations notified less than an hours before the appointment time will be recorded as a failure to attend (DNA) – this is a significant waste of NHS resources. To do this, please call the surgery at 02078345502, or cancel online if you are already registered.

Who will I see?

We aim to offer continuity of care and encourage you to see the same Doctor where possible.  However, there may be more appropriate and quicker help available by other members of the health care team. Within the surgery we have Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists and Nurses who can help with many health issues.

Physiotherapists, first contact physiotherapy, psychology, travel health and sexual health services can all be accessed without a GP referral. Within the surgery we have Healthcare Assistants, Pharmacists and Nurses who can help with many health issues.

Some useful contact information

Can I treat the condition myself?

Do check with www.nhs.uk for up to date advice.  You can often treat ailments without seeing a doctor. Alternatively, get fast help from a Pharmacist with various conditions such as minor cuts, sprains, aches, colds, headaches, rashes, cystitis. No appointment necessary and many pharmacists have a confidential area. Open till late and at weekends.
